Evaluation of performance under Semester System:

 

The performance of a student in each paper will be assessed on the basis of a Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA) of 30 marks and a written Examination of 70 marks at the end of each Semester.

 

The components of CIA shall be:

a) Tests and Assignments                         15 marks
b) Seminar/Quiz/Paper presentation        10 marks
c) Regularity and conduct                            05 marks

                                                             Total:   30 marks

 

The distribution of marks in the end of Written/Semester Examination shall be as follows:

a) Multiple Choice (10 questions)             10x2=20 marks
b) Short Answer Question for each of       05x04=20marks
the five units of 4 marks each
c) Long term 3 questions (out of five         03x10=30marks
questions) 10 marks
                                                                         Total:               70 marks
